AYCO Concerto Competition

Located in Chicago, IL – AYCO Concerto Competition is only open to all current AYCO Chamber Music Program members. Current members who have previously won the AYCO Concerto Competition are not eligible to participate in this competition.

Ages – 7-18yrs 

Entry Fee – $50

Competition Date – Jan 8th

Registration Deadline – Dec 18th

Repertoire 

One movement of a standard concerto or showpiece with orchestral accompaniment

• Perform with AYCO Chamber Orchestra

Competition Requirements

• Performance Video (MP4 only) performance must be the entire movement or piece required (including cadenza), no partial performances, and must be performed from memory; must be accompanied by piano or orchestra
• Biography / Performance & Headshot Pictures all contestants must submit a recently updated biography & high quality, professional color Performance & Headshot Pictures (2 or more)

Competition RESULTS

Results will be Announced on AYCO’s Social Media 1-2 weeks after the Competition Date

• Eligibility – competition is only open to all current AYCO Chamber Music Program members. Current members who have previously won the AYCO Concerto Competition are not eligible to participate in this competition
• No contestants will be enrolled in the competition before the registration fee is received. After registering, there are no refunds for cancellation or videos not submitted by the competition date

• AYCO reserves all rights for all American Youth Chamber Orchestra-produced and submitted media content
